SMS Consent Guidelines
Last updated: July 7, 2026
QwikRev enables local businesses to send post-service text messages to customers who have agreed to receive them. Businesses must collect consent before sending messages through QwikRev.
Who opts in
End users are customers of a local business. They opt in when they provide their phone number to that business during or after receiving a service, such as at checkout, on a service agreement, or on an intake form.
Verbal consent script
When collecting consent verbally, the business representative should read the following script to the customer before sending any SMS through QwikRev:
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages from [Business Name] regarding your recent service and a request to share feedback. Message frequency is typically 1 message plus up to 1 reminder within 72 hours. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Paper form consent language
After consent is collected, the business may use QwikRev to send:
- One post-service SMS asking the customer to share feedback or leave a review.
- Up to one optional reminder within 72 hours if the customer has not responded and the business has enabled reminders.
Messages may include a secure link such as https://qwikrev.com/r/[CustomerSlug].
Required disclosures
All consent methods must include:
- The type of messages the customer will receive.
- Message frequency (typically 1 message plus up to 1 reminder within 72 hours).
